Database - Oracle 11g, MySQL …

We are trying to use the best for information systems what the software market offers and especially for the database which stands for the core of the whole IS. Successful development and run of the product depends on its speed, abilitities and stability.  

From our experience we prefer the database from the Oracle 10g a 11g family offering both free distribution (10g Express Edition) suitable for small projects, and professional commercial solution which is able to manage the most difficult problems.

Depending on specific demands other database servers such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server might be used.
